Vera Salt’s Crystal Grinder Refill is filled with our high-purity spring salt crystals that are naturally formed and hand-harvested from a protected mineral spring, far from human industry. These unrefined, coarse crystals are ideal for use in any salt grinder or mill.
Whether you're seasoning proteins, finishing roasted vegetables, or adding a fresh crack of salt at the table, these crystals dissolve evenly and deliver a bright, clean flavor. Each container refills our Spring Salt Grinder up to four times and is an essential staple for everyday cooking and finishing.
Third-party tested for microplastics and heavy metals, including: Aluminum (Al), Arsenic (As), Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb), and Mercury (Hg).
Our high-purity white salt crystals are composed of minerals including:
- Potassium (K): 294ppm
- Magnesium (Mg): 382ppm
- Calcium (Ca): 1,034ppm
Sourced from an ancient spring in Spain.
Harvested by hand via traditional methods, not subject to any processing or bleaching.
100% plastic-free packaging made of cardboard and an inner bag made of biodegradable, compostable potato starch. As a result, the salt never comes in contact with plastic.
Storage conditions: After opening, store in a cool, dry place. There may be some clumps as we do not use any additives, preservatives, or anti-clumping agents.

Just as good as any other course salt.
Overall I love the salt and the fact it is tested from contamination. It looses a star for plastic packaging, I assumed it would all be in a glass jar considering the price. The total cost for me was 50 euros (350g) once delivery and customs charged to Ireland were included. European distributor would be appreciated.
Refined and sophisticated tasting. Best salt I've tried. I love that I can feel confident that I'm not ingesting microplastics and metals.
First impression was disappointment. I paid ~$24 for a box of salt that arrived with packaging damage. I feel like at this price point the packing and shipping process should be rock solid to protect product.
Hi Debbie, we're really sorry to hear that part of your order arrived damaged. We reached out directly on July 17 and again on July 23 to make things right, but haven’t heard back. We’ve been working with our fulfillment center to improve packaging, and if you’re still open to it, we’d love to send a replacement. Thanks again for your order and your feedback!
You can taste the difference.
