Vera Salt's Spring Salt & Pepper Grinder contains our high-purity salt crystals (85%) and a gourmet pepper blend consisting of black, white, and pink peppercorns (15%), making it ideal for general cooking and seasoning. It serves as a wonderful tableside accompaniment for daily use.

The glass body and ceramic grinder are durable and reusable. The ceramic grinder head glides smoothly and ensures ease of use, as well as no pieces of plastic chipping off during the grinding process.

Third-party tested for microplastics and heavy metals, including: Aluminum (Al), Arsenic (As), Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb), and Mercury (Hg).

Our high-purity white salt crystals are composed of minerals including:

  • Potassium (K): 294ppm
  • Magnesium (Mg): 382ppm
  • Calcium (Ca): 1,034ppm

Plastic Lid

Microplastic free with a Plastic Lid. There is no mention on the website that the grinders have plastic lids. Thought I'd let you all know so you can choose with full knowledge whether or not you'd like to buy it.

Thanks for your feedback! While the outer lid on the grinders is plastic, the grinder body is glass, and the internal grinding mechanism is ceramic, so no plastic is grinding the salt. If you know of any high-quality, fully plastic-free grinders, we’d love to hear about them. To avoid plastic entirely, our other products like the Flake Salt are 100% plastic-free and packaged in glass.
