Fleur de Sel Spring Salt

Vera Salt’s Fleur de Sel is a naturally formed salt that blooms on the surface of our protected spring beds under just the right mix of sun, breeze, and patience. Harvested entirely by hand in small batches, these diamond crystals are denser and crunchier than our Flake Salt, delivering a satisfying texture and a clean, delicate flavor. Perfect as a finishing touch when you want a pronounced crunch and a subtle burst of salinity.

Third-party tested for microplastics and heavy metals, including: Aluminum (Al), Arsenic (As), Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb), and Mercury (Hg).

Our high-purity white salt crystals are composed of minerals including:

  • Potassium (K): 294ppm
  • Magnesium (Mg): 382ppm
  • Calcium (Ca): 1,034ppm

Harvested by hand via traditional methods, not subject to any processing or bleaching.

100% plastic-free packaging made of paper cardboard that houses a glass jar and an inner bag made of biodegradable, compostable potato starch. As a result, the salt never comes in contact with plastic.

Storage conditions: After opening, store in a cool, dry place. There may be some clumps as we do not use any additives, preservatives, or anti-clumping agents.

We chose to source from this pristine saline spring due to its location, away from human pollution and contamination.

How is Vera Salt's inner bag plastic-free?

We’re proud to use packaging that’s 100% plastic-free. The inner bag, which can look like plastic, is actually made from potato starch, as noted on the side of the box. It’s biodegradable, compostable, and a sustainable alternative to traditional plastics. This material is a smart compromise as it performs like plastic but is made from plant sources instead of industrial oil byproducts.
